Café SATI

Café SATI, a family-owned and independent company from Alsace, France, has been roasting coffee since 1926, passing down exceptional expertise through three generations.

Carefully selecting coffee beans from around the world, the company roasts them in Strasbourg, at the Port of the Rhine, where tradition meets innovation.

The Schulé family, owners of the company, have a deep passion for contemporary art, design, and photography. With the support of a network of European art schools and the expertise of HEAR (Haute École des Arts du Rhin), they have sustained the sponsorship program Les Talents SATI, now in its 12th edition in 2025.

Through Les Talents SATI, the company strives to support emerging artists while maintaining a strong connection to its region and upholding sustainable economic, social, and environmental commitments. This initiative also reflects Café SATI’s dedication to cultural and societal values. In recognition of its ethical and responsible approach, the company was awarded the PME+ and Alsace Excellence labels in 2020.

Since 2019, Café SATI has been collaborating with the Strasbourg-based association Libre Objet to give previous pieces of art a second life by recycling the materials into tote bags and other products. The association also repurposes packaging scraps from Café SATI’s production lines to create tote bags, which are then sold by Libre Objet or distributed by the company itself for promotional purposes.

These initiatives align with the company’s commitment to developing a sustainable, responsible, and fair economy.
